Salmon remain connected to their place of origin. Every year, salmon journey long distances from the ocean to return to the rivers and streams and their place of birth. When the journey is complete, they die and their offspring and born. The cycle of life continues and the return of the salmon nourishes all life in the rain forest, including animals and humans alike.
